Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience working within non-profits. She has worked with a wide variety of populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction, victims of sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. She has served Erie patients in 2019 The current telehealth services for mental health are available. Dr. Rivas, who is an active member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team, which works with postpartum and pre-natal women, offers trauma-informed therapy to adult patients and is an expert in trauma care. Additionally, she offers group or individual therapy, Medication assisted treatment program, Referral for specific care, as well as a Women's support group. Amanda serves as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find permanent homes for animals that are homeless. She shares with the Best Friends motto, Save Them All and hopes to see Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city. Amanda constantly strives to gain the most from every day.
